Lausitzring: race 1 in detail

Jamie Green decided the third race of the 2015 DTM season in his favour. With his Audi RS 5 DTM, the Brit finished ahead of his fellow Audi drivers Edoardo Mortara, Mattias Ekström and Miguel Molina. Pascal Wehrlein and Robert Wickens finished fifth and sixth respectively with their Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM cars. The best-placed BMW driver was Maxime Martin in seventh place.

18.05 Start of the formation lap for the first race at Lausitzring, the third race of the season.
Start Molina takes the lead from Green and Mortara. All cars make it through the first corner. Ekström is fourth from Martin, Wickens, Blomqvist, Wehrlein, Scheider and Wittmann.
Lap 2 Auer spins coming onto the back stretch without any outside assistance, but continues his race. Farfus comes into the pits, his BMW M4 DTM is damaged after a collision with Di Resta. For the Brazilian, the race is over.
Lap 4 DRS has now been enabled. Information from race control: no jump starts.
Lap 6 Molina is leading from Green, Mortara, Ekström, Martin, Wickens, Blomqvist, Wehrlein, Scheider and Wittmann.
Lap 7 Only BMW driver Martin is able to keep up with the four Audis in front. In sixth place, Wickens is already 1.8 seconds down.
Lap 9 Ekström gets under pressure from Martin in the battle for fourth place. The Swede, in turn, is putting Mortara under pressure.
Lap 12 Wehrlein overtakes Wickens and is now sixth.
Lap 13 Collision between Müller and Félix da Costa. Müller spins, Glock can avoid his car. All drivers continue their race.
Lap 15 Blomqvist off the track, the Brit drops to the back of the field.
Lap 18 At the end of the main straight, Juncadella tries to overtake Wittmann, but misses his braking point, so it is to no avail.
Lap 19 Rockenfeller overtakes Spengler and is now eleventh.
Lap 21 Juncadella and Rockenfeller overtake Wittmann and are now ninth and tenth respectively.
Lap 22 Scheider is putting Wickens under pressure in the battle for seventh. Spengler overtakes Wittmann at the end of the main straight. The reigning champion is only twelfth.
Lap 23 Ten minutes remaining. At the start of the lap, Tomczyk also overtakes Wittmann.
Lap 25 Green overtakes Molina under braking for the first corner and gets through on the inside to take the lead in the race.
Lap 26 Mortara also overtakes Molina, the Spaniard is now only third. Out in front, Green has pulled a two seconds' gap.
Lap 27 Ekström is the next one to overtake Molina, who has to let the Swede past.
Lap 28 Martin and Wehrlein are putting Molina under pressure in the battle for fourth place.
Lap 29 Wehrlein overtakes Martin in the first corner and is now fifth.
Lap 32 Green heads into the final lap. Wickens overtakes Martin for sixth.
Finish Jamie Green takes his second DTM race win of the season. Mortara comes second from Ekström and Molina, who complete the clean sweep for Audi of the first four places. Wehrlein, Wickens, Martin, Scheider, Rockenfeller and Juncadella round out the top ten.
