Roll out at Hockenheim – the action has started
The action has started and finally, the waiting is over for all the DTM fans. On Friday morning, the V8 engines of the 24 cars finally roared again in the Motodrom of the Hockenheimring in the 35 minutes’ roll out. On a rain-soaked track, the teams of Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz didn’t have any problems during their initial test laps. The 2015 DTM season has started.
First free practice on Friday afternoon will allow for a first analyses of the potential performance of the drivers and teams. From 14.15 hrs, live timing will be available at DTM.com. Things really start in earnest on Saturday when the first of this weekend’s two races will get underway at noon. The starting lights for the second race will go out on Sunday at 13.43 hrs. Prior to each of the races, a 20 minutes’ qualifying session will be held on Saturday and Sunday to determine the starting grid positions for the races.
